Working from Home as a Long-Term Investment Theme

Wednesday August 19, 2020 at 11:00 am EDT

For much of 2020, many Americans have needed to adjust to working from home, using new technologies and a flexible approach to balancing their many tasks. Meanwhile, many businesses have seen how productive their employees can be outside of a communal office and are considering a more permanent shift of personnel.

During CFRA’s Head of ETF & Mutual Fund Research Todd Rosenbluth and Direxion’s Managing Director, Product, David Mazza, they discuss:

  • The investment case for cloud computing, cybersecurity, online project and document management and remote communications companies as work from home sub-themes.
  • Advisor demand for information technology and communications services focused thematic ETFs.
  • How thematic ETFs can fit into a broader advisor-led portfolio.

Presented by:

  • Todd Rosenbluth, Head of ETF and Mutual Fund Research, CFRA
  • David Mazza, Managing Director and Head of Product at Direxion
