There are many different trading strategies and order types available. While no hard-and-fast rules apply under all circumstances, different situations and investor objectives require different tactics. Following a few simple steps can help investors gain greater confidence in placing exchange-traded funds (ETFs) trades.

Todd Rosenbluth

Head of ETF and Mutual Fund Research

Todd Rosenbluth is Head of ETF and Mutual Fund Research at CFRA, where he leads the firm’s holdings-based research efforts. Todd publishes regular thought leadership content on equity and fixed income products, supports the quantitative fund models and interacts with clients.  He also serves as a member of CFRA’s Investment Policy Committee. Todd has frequently provided ETF education at Inside ETFs conferences and been quoted in media outlets, such as Barron’s, New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. He also held the position of Senior Director of ETF and Mutual Fund Research for S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Matt Lewis

Vice President, Head of Implementation and Capital Markets at American Century Investments

Matt Lewis is Vice President and Head of Exchange Traded Funds Implementation and Capital Markets for American Century Investments, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. He is based in the company's Mountain View, California office.

Matt is responsible for building and managing relationships with ETF liquidity providers and other external ETF participants, as well as speaking with clients on how to trade and invest in ETFs. In addition, he is responsible for partnering with other internal teams to develop the firm's ETF products and business.  Prior to joining American  Century Investments in 2017, he headed BlackRock's iShares broker dealer execution services for America.  Previously, as BlackRock's director of product development for Latin America, Matt led the firm’s product development effort to bring locally-listed iShares ETFs into Mexico, Brazil and Colombia. He has worked in the investment industry since 1996.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Santa Clara University. He also earned a TRIUM Global Executive MBA, a degree jointly issued by New York University Stern School of Business, London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC Paris School of Management
